First Ride of the Season!

Mark and I were going to go out for a ride today, but the registration for one of the sleds was in my dad’s truck so only the yamaha was trail-ready… I was already bundled up to my ears so I decided to take a little spin just by myself down the road to the dirt roads and power lines about a half mile from our place. Over the weekend we got about 6 inches of snow… Of course while I was driving back from a wedding downstate New Years Day… and ran my car off the road… yay. It still moves! The upside is that the skiing will be decent now!

Going skiing/boarding (not sure which yet!) for the first time of the season tomorrow as well…Maybe this winter won’t be so awful after all?

My brother is so cool. He can ride snowmobiles like a mad man, and also knows how to fix them when (not if) he breaks them.

Snowboard!

Snowboarding (or Skiing) is an essential part of life where I live. Besides snowmobiling there isn’t too much to do around here. Well not really, but sometimes it seems like it.

Snowboarding can be done in a conventional way (a.k.a at the nearby ski resort, including chair lifts and hot chocolate), or you can D.I.Y.
